Alan Clayson – There’s Still Time [CD]

Description

There’s Still Time is a new album from Alan Clayson – a singular British songwriter once spoken of alongside Elvis Costello, Jonathan Richman, John Otway and Wreckless Eric. Blending sharp observation, narrative drive and a restless performance style, Clayson works where songs meet monologue and personality outweighs convention.Moving freely between bedroom psych textures, motorik rhythms, space-age hymns and baroque pop vignettes, the album also makes room for spoken-word experiments that blur the line between song and story. Following Ancient And Modern: Highlights of Half A Century (Think Like A Key, 2024), it delivers a characterful, uncompromising set from a true original. Limited pressing.
