ER THORPE – Human Love – LP – Black Vinyl [MAR 27]

Description

LP – Black Vinyl

Emmas work is rooted in Alt-Folk / Singer-Songwriter tradition but tilted beautifully off-axis. Its a record of quiet force, haunting and emotionally exacting. Drawn from a life shaped by texture, memor y, and the natural world, its an intimate reflection on resilience and renewal, held together by a voice that balances strength and vulnerability in the same breath.

For fans of Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding, This Is The Kit, Beth Orton, Mazzy Star.

The album is produced by Jim Baron of Crazy P – following his acclaimed album Love Makes Magic – it is his debut behind the desk and highlights the creative collaboration of Nottinghams vibrant scene. Contributions come from Huw Costin (Torn Sail), Kev Bales (Spiritualized), Matt Klose (Crazy P), and renowned jazz bassist Simon Patersona cast that expands Thorpes world while keeping the songs emotional centre fully in view.
