Description

LP – Indie Exclusive Red Apple Vinyl

Ultra Q is a band fronted by Jakob Armstrong – the son of Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day. Their EP, Get Yourself A Friend, is out via Royal Mountain. The band has previously been featured in Rolling Stone, Spin, Alternative Press, etc. The EP was produced by Martin Cooke (Death Cab For Cutie, Of Monsters and Men) and recorded in Green Day’s studio.

“Ultra Q are a band I’m feeling particularly excited about and on this, they show us exactly what they’re made of and how they can influence the future of Indie Rock.”
Jack Saunders (BBC Radio 1)

Catchy, angsty rock songs. A shimmering guitar-led intro leads into a crunchier, deeper sound for the rest of the song. Rolling Stone
