BROKEN CHANTER – This Could Be Us, You, Or Anybody Else – LP – Curacao Blue Coloured Vinyl [APR 10]

Description

LP – Limited Edition Curacao Blue Coloured Vinyl.

This Could be Us, You, Or Anybody Else was written and recorded immediately after touring 2024s Scottish Album of the Year Longlisted Chorus Of Doubt.

Its a collection of muscular, visceral compositions that challenge the alienation of the modern sociopolitical landscape.

Over 10 songs fuelled by an uncanny empathy and devotion to the human spirit, David MacGregors latest outing as Broken Chanter builds on the Agitp(r)op ecstasy of his previous work to delirious effect.

Recorded at Chemikal Underground‘s studio Chem19 with producer Paul Savage and with regular collaborators Charlotte Printer, Bartholomew Owl, and Martin Johnston, This Could be Us… is music as revelation, protest, community in action. Harking back to the activist post-punk of the early 80s to approach the future, Broken Chanter here sound vital and immediate.

The Curacao coloured vinyl includes a 320kbps download card.
