MADNESS – BBC Rock Hour 1983 – LP – Burgundy Vinyl

Description

LP – Limited Edition Burgundy Colour Vinyl Of 300, Live At The Dominion Theater London March 2nd 1983 FM Broadcast

This live album from 1983 captures the beloved British ska-pop band Madness at their energetic peak. Recorded live for the BBC, the typically funMadness session bursts with their usual musical charm, wit and the characterful rhythmic bounce that defined the Suggs-fronted outfit back in the early 80s.

All the classics – and they don’t get much more classsic than this – such as ‘Our House,’ ‘Baggy Trousers‘ and ‘House of Fun‘ showcase the band’s tight musicianship, punchy brass and irrepressible stage presence while the raw, unpolished mix highlights their playful energy. This is a great snapshot of their golden era and fine reminder of Madness’s brilliance as both entertainers and musicians.
