THE YOUNG GODS – Only Heaven (30th Anniversary Edition) – LP – Gatefold Vinyl

Description

LP – Black Vinyl. 30 Years Anniversary Edition with Audio remastered for vinyl from the original tapes. Housed in embossed gatefold packaging (2025 Reissue).

Exactly 30 years ago, The Young Gods released their fifth studio album, Only Heaven. This timeless record marked the bands shift towards a more ambient sound.

A worthy heir to psychedelic influences, resulting in sonic material of extreme purity, Only Heaven confirmed the Swiss bands international breakthrough, which began with their TV Sky album.

Very few albums can claim to surpass everything that Only Heaven contains. Very few artists can claim to have put so much genius into their music. Once again, Roli Mosimann (the fourth member of the band) is at the helm of production.

When asked about the most influential bands of the early 1990s, everyone from Mike Patton (Faith No More), Devin Townsend, Maynard James Keenan (Tool), Al Jourgensen (Ministry), Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), to The Edge (U2) immediately mention The Young Gods. All connoisseurs will tell you that they have their place in any ultimate record collection.

Absolutely unmissable, majestically grand, this record is a marvel of mastery in the art of sampling. To mark this anniversary, the album is being reissued in a remastered version. The digipack CD and gatefold vinyl are presented in embossed packaging.
