LAURA ELIZABETH HUGHES – Knots And Echoes – LP – Vinyl

Description

LP – Standard Edition Black Vinyl pressed at Anthem Vinyl, Co. Kildare, Ireland.

Songwriter Laura Elizabeth Hughes is set to release her album Knots and Echoes on digital platforms and limited edition vinyl from October 3rd.

Since her self produced and recorded EP We, Myself, I in 2021, touted as her finest and most honest work to date, Laura has been quietly working on a larger project; wanting more autonomy over the whole process and wanting to challenge herself personally and artistically.

The past year has seen teases of this body of work released to the world, alongside a sprinkle of live appearances, while behind the scenes Hughes has consistently been honing her craft to deliver a blend of spoken word with folk fused lyricism that showcases her delicate vocal harmonies alongside melodies that shimmer with emotion.

Produced by long-time collaborator Cian Sweeney (Birds of Paradise studio), and with the support of The Arts Council Agility Award, Knots and Echoes expands Hughes sonic palette, always maintaining her signature intimacy while exploring new sounds and emotional depth in a distinctly LEH style. This body of work continues Laura Elizabeth Hughes’ reputation as one of Irelands leading songwriters for emotive storytelling.
