Description
CD
The Rolling Stones Now! The third U.S. album, sharing half the tracks from the UK second release. Includes their second UK number-one hit, the classic blues re-write Little Red Rooster, featuring superb slide guitar from Brian Jones. Also features one of the first Jagger/Richards originalsthe yearning, soulful Heart of Stone.
Now! is almost uniformly strong from start to finish, with an emphasis on some of their blackest material. The covers of Down Home Girl, Bo Diddleys vibrating Mona, Otis Reddings Pain in My Heart, and Barbara Lynns Oh Baby are all among the groups best R&B interpretations.
