Description

12” – Limited Edition Purple Fade Colour Vinyl.

Gordon Chapman-Fox, the genius behind WRNTDP says Id worked on these tracks for the best part of a year, and, in my mind, theywere a fundamental part of the whole ‘Your Community Hub” project. I was heartbroken when they couldnt make it onto the album, soits an enormous relief to see them come to life here. The initial concept for the fifth WRNTDP album was to expand beyond northCheshire, and dedicate a track to some of Britains other New Towns. Being part of the project from early on, these four tracks werededicated to Basildon, Cwmbran, Redditch and Harlow. To give an idea on how long these things can take to gestate, the openingtrack “The People Of The Town was performed at the End Of The Road Festival in 2022.

Tracklist:

1. The People Of The Town
2. All Mod Cons
3. Open Green Spaces
4. All You Need InFive Minutes Brisk Walk
