Envy Of None – Envy Of None [Indie Exclusive limited Edition Blue LP]

Description

Envy Of None is the new band and debutalbum from Alex Lifeson (Rush), Andy Curran (Coney Hatch), Alfio Annibalini andsinger Maiah Wynne.

The ambient, cinematic darkness that thecollective creates evokes a powerful atmosphere that will excite superfans andnew audiences alike. Lifeson andCurrans longtime friendship was the catalystfor the bands inception – but Envy Of None is not defined by its membersresumes – they arent Rush or Coney Hatchand far more than the sum of itscollective parts.

Above the beautiful cacophony of guitars, synths, bass and drums sits the fragile melodies of 24-year old vocalist MaiahWynne – the newest name in Envy OfNones impressive personnel. HearingMariahs voice intertwined with the music will bring back memories of when youheard Shirley Manson of Garbage or AmyLee of Evanescence for the first time.Wynne brings charm and beauty to these recordings in spades – with floatinghooks and emotive lyrics transcending theoftentimes textural aesthetic.

The music that this ensemble creates treadsnew ground with each track throughout their 42 minute debut, fromindustrial/electronic influences to post-progressivesoundscapes. Envy Of Nonecreate a sound that will haunt, comfort and ignite.
