Description
For his twelfth solo album The Ever Popular Tortured Artist Effect, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter and producer Todd Rundgren delivers nine solid performances which add up to form one of his most revered efforts of the 80’s. As with many of his solo endeavors, Rundgren played all of the instruments, sang and produced the album while songs like the smash hit single “Bang the Drum All Day” and the charting single “Hideaway” catapulted his marquee as a first-rate singer/songwriter even further. Filled with exceptional guitar work, solid lyrical imagery and stellar vocals, Rundgren truly puts it all on the line on every tune. Gatefold 180g vinyl LP reissue from Friday Music, mastered by Joe Reagoso.
