Louis Cole – Quality Over Opinion (2LP Vinyl)

Description

With his second album for Brainfeeder, Louis Cole brings twice the length of Time, and twice the fun as he embarks on a kaleidoscopic thrillride through a melting pot of genres with Quality Over Opinion. From dizzying electro-funk and R&B to moving classical pieces, Coles fourth album features a wide and wonderful entourage of artists and moods. A tornado of bombastic drums, surging bass, and wailing saxophone on Bitches sharply contrasts with the lilting strings and mellow jazzy meditations on either side of it, while Forgetting is a quaint, luscious pop song with guitars dipped in sunny beach sands.
