Description
Originally released in 1975 on Alegre Records, Sabor is a one-of-a-kind salsa album that made Angel Canales a star and is cherished to this day as an Afro-Caribbean classic! Canales introduces his players one by one on opening cut Sabor los rumberos nuevos, waxes poetic about his nostalgia for Puerto Rico on the mega-hit Lejos de ti and sings about a colorful Nuyorican character on the simmering Perico Macona.
