Description
Limited double clear and green vinyl LP pressing. This band went on such a prolific streak of songwriting magnificence that unknown gems were bound to slip through the cracks. That, indeed, was the case, and this 2009 release-subtitled “A Collection of Oddities and Rarities 2003-2008”-unearthed nearly an hour of discoveries. Isbell, Cooley and Hood compositions join some sweet covers plus alternate versions; this returns now on clear with green splatter vinyl: “Rebels,” “Uncle Frank,” “George Jones Talkin’ Cell Phone Blues,” “TVA,” “Mama Bake a Pie (Daddy Kill a Chicken),” “Play It All Night Long,” “Like a Rolling Stone,” “When the Well Runs Dry” and more! New West.
