Description
Recorded live at KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic on February 28, 2024, Live From KCRW Morning Becomes Eclectic captures Gaby Moreno in a rare, unedited studio performance alongside her full band. Known for her ability to move seamlessly between English and Spanish, Moreno blends blues, folk, rock ‘n’ roll, and Latin traditions into a sound that is intimate, powerful, and deeply human.
Recorded during a creative period shaped by the themes explored on Dusk, Moreno delivers a set that unfolds in real time, with no edits or safety nets. The performance moves from quiet, heartrending ballads to blues-driven intensity, culminating in a show-stopping rendition of the Guatemalan anthem “Luna de Xelaj.” This vinyl release preserves a singular night of trust, community, and musical instinct in one of public radio’s most iconic studios.
