Description
Seelie Court – the world’s premier label for rare and previously unreleased archive recordings of underground folk, rock, proto-metal, and psychedelic music presents a haunting folk rock album made from the exquisite compositions of Bob Hughes. This inexplicably ultra-rare private pressing is generally unknown, and includes a stunning version of the fragile and monumentally melancholic ‘High & Dry’, a song that is a genuine masterpiece, predating Radiohead’s identically titled pop tune. Recorded Late Winter 1977 – University of East Anglia (UEA) Music Centre, Norwich.
