Jethro Tull – Live From Baloise Session 2008 [2 LP]

Description

Jethro Tull, led by the ever-charismatic Ian Anderson – hailed as the man who brought the flute to rock music – forged a genre-defying path through rock history. Blending classical, folk, jazz, and hard rock in groundbreaking ways, Jethro Tull have become one of the most distinctive, successful and enduring bands in progressive rock music.

Recorded in November 2008 at the prestigious Baloise Session (formerly known as AVO Session) in Basel, Switzerland, this powerful live performance was previously only available on DVD. Now, for the first time, the 90-minute concert is becoming available for the first time in audio form.

Live From Baloise Session captures the energy, passion, and musical depth that define Jethro Tull. From Living In The Past to Aqualung, this is music that transcends time.

The easy-going informality of this fine concert venue in the beautiful city of Basel transfers to the band and audience alike providing a memorable occasion for all. Ian Anderson
