Indie Exclusive, Colored Vinyl, Green
Number of Discs: 2
Jon Anderson returns with a deeply personal and introspective work that captures the intimate atmosphere of home recording. Earth Mother Earth weaves together acoustic instrumentation, natural ambient sounds, and layered vocals into a meditative sonic landscape. The album incorporates organic elements including birdsong and the voice of Anderson’s wife Jane, grounding the record in lived experience and domestic warmth.
While echoing the ethereal quality of Anderson’s classic Olias of Sunhillow, Earth Mother Earth opts for a more naturalistic and grounded approach. Built around acoustic guitar, harp, and richly textured vocals, the album stands as a spiritual exploration of sound and nature, showcasing Anderson’s enduring vision as a progressive and ambient music innovator.
This indie exclusive pressing comes on green vinyl.
