Sandfall Interactive, Kepler Interactive and Laced Records are banding together to bring Lorien Testards breakout soundtrack for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 to vinyl and CD.

This double LP has been thoughtfully sequenced by Testard, featuring an essential selection of tracks from the soundtrack such as Lumire, Une vie peindre, and main character themes.

The music in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is pivotal in driving the emotive story that enraptured players have fallen in love with. Most tracks were written and recorded at Testards home studio, with a selection also performed and recorded by the prestigious Curieux Orchestre at Midilive Studios, Paris.

Testards debut score is a musical painting that supports the games Belle poque setting. Among many others, the leitmotifs in Alicia and Lumire are woven into the fabric of the game experience, capturing the grief and hope of the characters and the beauty of Lumire.

Central to the appeal and effectiveness of the music are the lyrics and vocal melodies of Alice Duport-Percierthe lead voice and emotional heart of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33s many vocal tracks. Joining Duport-Percier are vocalists Victor Borba (singer on Devil May Cry 5s Bury the Light) and mezzo-soprano Axelle Verner. Verso voice actor Ben Starr also sings on the moving Until Next Life.

The digital soundtrack holding the No.1 spot for six consecutive weeks on Billboards Classical Chart and Classical Crossover Chart is testament to the power of Testards musical storytelling, making these Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 physical soundtracks a must-have musical companion for any expeditioner, RPG fanatic or video game music connoisseur.
