Los Texmaniacs – Texas Towns and Tex-Mex Sounds [CD]

Description

Los Texmaniacs stand at a major crossroads in the history of Texas Mexican musical tradition. The beginnings of their careers were rooted in a time of the music’s heightened social relevance & creative expansion. The new social relevance came from the embrace of the button accordion driven Tejano sound by the Chicano civil-rights movement in the ’60s & ’70s.
