Together with pianist JoseAlberto del Cerro, the songful qualities, richness ofcolours and genuine human expressivity of works byMompou, Rachmaninoff, Montsalvatge, Wagner andObradors are transformed into luminous “songs withoutwords”, revealing the saxophone’s hidden vocal soul.
