Description
Keyland’s Knuckle Sandwich is a loud, unvarnished LP from Kyle Ross, recorded at Sonic Ranch and produced/mixed by Haffway (Sam Westhoff). From grit-forward rockers like “Pinball Machine Rodeo Queen” and “Cannonball” to the bruised storytelling of “Sandra” and “A Hundred Feet Away,” the record balances muscle and melody. Played by a tight Tulsa crew and released via One Riot Records, it’s built for stage impact. As Ross puts it: “Oftentimes love looks more like a punch to the face than a kiss on the cheek.”
