Description

LP – Standard Edition Black Vinyl (2026 Secret Records Reissue).

Animalisms was the third studio album and stands as landmark album that epitomises The Animals‘ raw, electric energy during a transformative period in music history – As one of the defining records of British R&B, it encapsulates the band’s powerful essence just before the original line-up disbanded – Eric Burdon‘s formidable vocal prowess combined with the band’s strong blues and soul influences showcases their departure from the more commercial sound of contemporaneous British pop bands.

The album is a gritty collection of both popular blues standards and lesser-known tracks, demonstrating The Animals’ unique blend of R&B and blues-infused rock.

Eric Burdon‘s Vocals: A soul-stirring delivery that conveys raw emotion and intensity.
