THE RIFLES – Unplugged Album II – 2LP – Natural Clear Vinyl [JAN 30]

Description

2LP – Limited Edition Natural Clear Vinyl in printed inners housed in a gatefold sleeve.

After their recent #1 UK Independent Album, The Rifles once again step into Abbey Road Studios for Unplugged Album Vol. 2. Recorded in the iconic Studio 2, the band revisit some of their finest songs in an acoustic setting enriched with delicate piano and a string quartet. Building on the success of Unplugged Vol. 1 whose reworked songs quickly became fan-favourites in their live sets this follow-up offers a fresh perspective on The Rifles catalogue. Across sixteen tracks, including Talking, Time in Hand, When Im Alone, Peace and Quiet and Darling Girl, the band reveal new shades of their melodic indie-rock craft. Rather than relying on studio polish, Vol. 2 thrives on authenticity. The recordings carry the immediacy of a live moment, making the listener feel as though theyre right there in Studio 2 with the band a room steeped in history. For long-time fans, this album is a chance to reconnect with beloved songs in a fresh way; for newcomers, its the perfect entry point into a band whose songwriting continues to resonate deeply.
