ULVER – Childhood’s End (Reissue) – 2LP – Vinyl [SEP 12]

Description

2LP – Black Vinyl. Classic psychedelic tracks re-worked by the Norwegian dark music legends (2025 Repress).

Early pioneers of Norwegian black metal, Ulver have continually evolved throughout their career & now stand as living legends of the dark music industry, blending rock, electronica, symphonic & chamber traditions along with noise & experimental music to create groundbreaking material.

In the kaleidoscope, wolves revolve. Ulver return with a bespoke collection of nuggets from the meta-world of 1960’s psychedelia – songs both familiar & forgotten. The album includes Ulver’s unique versions of tracks from The 13th Floor Elevators, Electric Prunes, Jefferson Airplane, The Pretty Things & more.

Originally released as the follow up to the critically acclaimed ‘Wars Of The Roses‘ album on Kscope (2011), ‘Childhood’s End‘ is now available as a single LP.

“…these cover versions reward the ambition of the original songs, draping them with stateliness.” – The New York Times
