Description
180-Gram Limited Edition – *(*) AllMusic. So Much Guitar! Marked Wes Montgomery’s first recording with pianist Hank Jones. So Much Guitar! #was also Wes’ first recording session with Ron Carter, with whom he would collaborate on three more albums. So Much Guitar! #contains the only existing collaboration of the guitarist and drummer Lex Humphries. Of course, all further possible collaborations were brutally cut off by Wes’ sudden and unexpected death due to a heart attack on June 15, 1968, at the age of 45. Includes the classic “Twisted Blues” and Wes’ solo guitar rendition of “While We’re Young”. THE COMPLETE ALBUM + 1 BONUS TRACK – 180-GRAM VIRGIN VINYL
