Scottish indie-pop outfit wojtek the bear release their brand new album in May 2026. Following in the footsteps of Sister John, The Muldoons and The Bluebells, the band recently decamped to Beetroot Studios where, in the company of legendary good guy Bill Ryder-Jones, they set about continuing their tradition of making a new album better than their last. 2024’s critically acclaimed shaking hands with the nme is a tough act to follow but we can confidently say they have done it again. The forthcoming i don’t think you want to hear this is graceful, humorous and, above all, another collection of stunning musicianship from Scotland’s best kept secret. Impeccably produced with consideration and class, the new album is released by Last Night From Glasgow on two shades of coloured vinyl, CD and digital.
